In the year 2011, we were a group of friends with an ambition to preserve the ecology of Theni district, started the “Tamil Nanbargal Kuzhaam” and took baby steps towards our ambition. We were collecting free saplings and planted it in public spaces, schools, highways, etc. We also used to gift saplings for those celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, wedding, etc.
Soon our determination and lofty ambition gained attention within our town and further to the whole district. Many people started to volunteer for our plantation works and we wanted to reach out to each and every village of our district.
So, in the year 2020, we officially registered NANSEI ARAKATTALAI as a Trust in Uthamapalayam, Theni District. Since then, we are performing various ecological activities in Madurai and Theni District.
