Trees are a major part of our ecology and they live among us contributing a lot to the well-being of the environment. Without considering their importance, people use them for hanging sign boards. The nails used for hanging the sign boards become rusty and affect the life of the trees.
Realizing the damages occurring to our Trees, we, along with several volunteers started to remove the nails from the trees all around the district.
We transformed this noble venture into an event in the year 2019 and since then several organizations, volunteers, and individuals have successfully removed more than 800kgs of Nails from around 3500 trees in the district.
